Bollards are an excellent decorative material with great applicability; they retain their color and luster, do not fade or darken, and have a high glossy finish after polishing. They do not flake upon sanding and are resistant to scratches and high temperatures. Moreover, the hardness of Shandong bollard stone is exceptionally high. Currently, bollard stone is gaining popularity in the construction market. Despite the intense demand, many may not be aware of how Shandong bollard stone is extracted.
For the mining of barrier ball granite stone, due to the high hardness of this stone, sawing methods are commonly used; for deposits with intermediate-acidic or acidic inclusions in the rock forming barrier ball granite, most opt for highly mechanized mining techniques, which are typically based on rock foundations. Mining is conducted using the primary joints of the rock mass, where the dip angles within the bedding planes are usually gentle, creating a free surface. The direction of the working face should parallel the direction of the longitudinal joints. Then, proceed by advancing along the bedding planes and using flames to cut through the layers along the transverse joints. Separation is achieved through splitting or controlled blasting. The hole spacing and the amount of explosive charge are determined experimentally for reasonable parameters; subsequently, bore along the direction of the transverse joints, and the rough blocks are obtained through controlled blasting or splitting.
If the bollard granite is located in an open mountain mass and the ore body thickness is exposed significantly, open-pit mining on the slope should be employed for extraction.
2. If the Shandong stopball stone is exposed on flat terrain, it is mined using a concave open-pit method.
3. If the exposed area is small and the majority of the stopper ball stone is covered, concealed, and surrounded, it is necessary to use excavation holes or well-type mining.
In summary, this pertains to the mining methods of Shandong stop ball stone. Currently, affected by policies, the quantity of stop ball blanks is decreasing and prices are continuously rising.
