Advantages Overview
The portable distributed fiber optic strain & temperature measurement system FEBUS G1-C offers strain and temperature measurements at intervals of every 1 meter (typical value) along tens of kilometers of fiber optic infrastructure deployment.Adaptability and temperature data。The system is specially designed and developed for versatility in any location and rapidly achieves the Bragg measurement objectives. It is also particularly suitable for demanding environments and single-end measurement requirements. Additionally, we offer FEBUS G1-CCustomized Personalization Service:
- On-site inspection
- Fiber Deployment (via experienced partners)
- Customize analysis modules and user interfaces to meet specific requirements
- For use with SCADA or similar systems
- 2-year warranty and optional maintenance plans
Operating Principle
Brillouin Scattering
As light propagates along the fiber optic cable,A small portionEnergy light is backscattered。ThisA small portion of energyLightWith one referred to as the BrillouinFrequency ShiftThe wavelength propagates backward.Frequency ShiftIsByTemperature and strainCaused by changesHere is how we measure these two parameters.
Optical Time Domain Location
As the pulsed light propagates through the fiber, Brillouin scattering occurs precisely at the point where the pulse arrives. That oneOngoing at all times. Since the speed of light in fiber optics is completely known, the position of each scattering point can be determined. That is our method for location measurement.
FO-LOG Software
