Cable recycling methods and introduction:
One, Mechanical Crushing and Separation Method
The mechanical crushing method primarily includes two units: crushing and sorting. Waste cables are decomposed into particles of a certain size by the crushing unit, and then sorted by the sorting unit to separate copper and plastic, resulting in pure copper and plastic.
Waste cables are conveyed to the primary crusher (triangular blade crusher) via a feeding conveyor belt. The primary crushing products are then magnetically separated to a separator screen, where larger particles are fed to copper rice crusher 1 and smaller ones to copper rice crusher 2. The crushed materials are then transported by a spiral conveyor to a vibrating screen, equipped with a blower at the bottom.
The material is separated into four components by wind vibration: copper rice and plastic are collected separately, while the uncompletely crushed particles and the mixture of copper rice and plastic are returned to the respective stages for recycling crushing and separation.

剥线法: Wire Stripper Method
This method is widely used in factories for the disassembly of cables with large diameters. The working principle of the automatic stripping machine is as shown in the diagram below: The right roller stepper motor drives the upper and lower right rollers to move the clamped cable left and right; the cutter stepper motor drives the upper and lower cutters to move in opposite directions. By controlling the displacement between the upper and lower cutters, the stripping and cutting functions are achieved.
The left scroll wheel stepper motor drives the top and bottom left scroll wheels to move the clamped workpiece line left and right; the helix wheel stepper motor drives the top and bottom left scroll wheels to move forward and backward in the opposite direction, achieving the helix function. The helix wheel and the left scroll wheel refer to the same roller physically.
This method offers good effectiveness for dismantling large-diameter cables. However, due to its heavy reliance on manual labor, it has low production efficiency for medium and small-diameter cables, poor automation, and limited ability to sort cable types.

Incineration typically utilizes the flammability of the plastic in wires and cables to recycle the metal through burning. This is an early, primitive method of metal recovery that has been phased out!
Cable recycling involves using specific techniques to separate the conductor from the sheath, followed by sorting technology to segregate them, resulting in purer metals and plastics, thereby achieving the goal of resource utilization.
