Utilize Features
The cable conductor is designed for a long-term working temperature of 90°C, with an emergency overload working temperature of 130°C.NoteDuring a short circuit (time ≤ 5 seconds), the conductor reaches a high temperature of 250°C.
Note: There is no unified overload duration regulation for power departments in our country; the U.S. standard stipulates that when the load exceeds the rated load by 10%, the duration should not exceed 15 minutes.
The ambient temperature during cable installation should not be below -20°C, and the cable should be preheated during installation.
Cable minimum bend diameter:
Cable Type Bent Diameter | Metal sleeve cable |
After installation | 30D0 |
Installation process | 40D0 |
Note: D in the table0Actual outer diameter for cables.
Axial Allowable Tension Force During Cable Installation (not considering radial side pressure at turns)
T=K*Core Number * Section Area (kg)
Coefficient K value: 7 for copper cores, 4 for aluminum cores.
Permitted lateral pressure P during cable bending
Single-core cables require a P≤500 kg/m.
P=T/R(T represents the axial traction force, R stands for the bending wheel radius)
From the above equation, it is apparent that since traction is generally determined by cable length and weight, to ensure P meets the specified requirements, the diameter of the turning wheel should be increased.
Cable laying is not restricted by落差.
