Section 5: Operating Conditions for WQ Submersible Non-Clog Sewage Pumps
Medium temperature not exceeding 60°C, medium density of 11.3×10^3 kg/m^3, pH value between 5-9.
2. Pumps without an internal self-circulating cooling system should have no more than half of the motor part exposed to the liquid surface.
3. This pump is primarily made of cast iron, thus it is not suitable for pumping highly corrosive liquids.
4. The volume percentage of solid phase in the conveying medium is below 2%.
Based on different discharge methods, sewage pumps can be categorized into self-priming sewage pumps, submersible sewage pumps, knife-type sewage pumps, and automatic mixing sewage pumps.
1) Must be manufactured and produced in strict accordance with international ISO 9906 or current domestic standards.
Wastewater Pump
Wastewater Pump
Brand of submersible sewage pumps recognized as qualified by comprehensive performance tests from authorized institutions.
2) Increase the amount of wastewater discharged, water quality, and optimize the location of the wastewater pond (collecting well) based on user requirements. Reasonably determine the required flow rate and head of the submersible sewage pump, and specify the pump specifications.
3) Based on the characteristics of the wastewater, determine the type of pump to be used, whether cutting and grinding is necessary, and choose between vortex impellers or channel impellers. Decide on single-channel or double-channel design (under the same conditions, single-channel design offers better anti-clogging performance than double-channel).
4) When selecting, be aware of the average fault-free operating time, mechanical seal lifespan, rated bearing lifespan, motor design lifespan, motor insulation grade, and the number of starts and stops per hour the motor should be able to withstand.
6) Outdoor sewage pools on buildings can be equipped with non-sealed manholes without ventilation pipes. Indoor sewage pools (collecting wells) should have sealed manholes and ventilation pipes installed. Sealed manholes are available in three materials: cast aluminum, gray cast iron, and ductile iron.
