Centrifugal pumps, circulating water pumps, booster pumps, and pressure boosters are primarily used for: 1. The ZQL series vertical centrifugal pumps are designed for conveying clean water and other liquids with similar physical properties to clean water. Suitable for medium temperatures below 80°C. They are applicable in industrial and urban water supply and drainage, high-rise building water pressure boosting, garden sprinkling, fire protection pressure boosting, long-distance water transportation, heating, bathroom hot and cold water circulation pressure boosting, and equipment matching, etc. 2. The ZQR series vertical hot water pumps are suitable for...
ISG Vertical Pipeline Centrifugal Pump Operating Features: 1. The pump features a vertical structure with the same inlet and outlet diameters aligned on a single centerline, allowing it to be installed in pipelines like a valve. It has a compact and aesthetically pleasing design, occupies minimal floor space, requires low construction investment, and can be used outdoors with a protective cover. 2. The impeller is directly mounted on the extended shaft of the motor, resulting in a short axial dimension and a compact structure. The pump and motor bearing arrangement is optimized for radial and axial load balance, ensuring smooth operation, low vibration, and low noise. 3. The shaft seal employs mechanical seals or a combination of mechanical seals, using imported titanium alloy sealing rings, medium-sized high-temperature-resistant mechanical seals, and hard alloy materials for wear-resistant sealing, effectively extending the service life of the mechanical seals. 4. Easy installation and maintenance without dismantling the pipeline system; simply remove the pump coupling nut to remove all rotor components. Shanghai Yangguang does a great job with this aspect. 5. The pump can operate in series or parallel configurations based on the required flow rate and head. 6. The pump can be installed vertically or horizontally according to pipeline layout requirements.
Any-way pump is a special type of centrifugal pump. The industry defines pipeline pumps as centrifugal pumps where the inlets and outlets are aligned in a straight line. Essentially, they look like a section of pipe and can be directly installed on piping to increase the pressure of liquids.
Pipe centrifugal pumps are also single-stage, single-suction centrifugal pumps. Due to their vertical construction design, they are also known as vertical centrifugal pumps. They are a new energy-saving product that will replace the IS-type horizontal single-stage pipe centrifugal pumps.
I. Explanation of the Structure of Centrifugal Pumps for Pipes
The construction of centrifugal pipeline pumps is primarily composed of six parts: impeller, pump housing, pump shaft, bearings, sealing ring, and stuffing box.
1. The impeller is a component of the centrifugal pump, characterized by high speed and great power. The blades on the impeller play a crucial role, and a static balance test must be conducted before disassembly. The inner and outer surfaces of the impeller should be smooth to minimize water flow friction loss.
2. The pump body, also known as the pump casing, is the main component of the water pump. It serves to support and secure the pump, and connects with the bracket of the device's bearing.
3. The function of the pump shaft is to connect the motor via a coupling, transferring the motor's torque to the impeller. Therefore, it is a crucial component for transmitting mechanical energy.
4. Bearings are components that fit onto and support the pump shaft, coming in two types: rolling bearings and sliding bearings. Rolling bearings use cow oil as a lubricant; proper lubrication should be between 2/3 to 3/4 of the volume, as too much can overheat, and too little will produce noise and heat! Sliding bearings use transparent oil as the lubricant; add oil to the oil level line.
Too much oil leaks along the pump shaft and spreads, while too little oil leads to overheating and bearing damage! During the operation of the water pump, the bearing temperature is typically around 85 degrees, with most operations at about 60 degrees. If it's higher, investigate the cause (are there impurities, has the oil gone dark, has it been waterlogged) and address it promptly!
5. The sealing ring is also known as a leakage reducer. An excessive gap between the impeller outlet and the pump housing can cause water from the low-pressure zone inside the pump to flow through this gap, affecting the pump's water output and efficiency! A too small gap can lead to friction and wear between the impeller and the pump housing.
To enhance backflow resistance and internal leakage, prolonging the service life of the impeller and pump housing, a sealing ring is installed at the joint between the inner edge of the pump housing and the outer periphery of the impeller. The sealed gap should be maintained between 0.25 to 1.10 mm.
6. The stuffing box is primarily composed of packing, water seal ring, packing cylinder, packing cover, and water seal pipe. The main function of the stuffing box is to seal the gap between the pump casing and the pump shaft, preventing water inside the pump from leaking out and also keeping air from entering the pump.
Maintain a vacuum inside the pump at all times! When friction between the pump shaft and packing generates heat, rely on the water seal pipe to contain water within the seal chamber, thereby cooling the packing! This ensures the normal operation of the pump. Therefore, during the pump's operational inspection process, special attention should be given to the packing box. It is recommended to replace the packing after approximately 600 hours of operation.
Section 2: Product Features of Centrifugal Pumps for Pipe Applications
1. The centrifugal pump for pipelines features a vertical structure with identical inlet and outlet diameters aligned in a single line, allowing it to be installed in the pipeline like a valve. It boasts a compact and elegant design, occupies minimal space, and has low construction costs. With a protective cover, it can be used outdoors.
2. The impeller of the pipeline centrifugal pump is indirectly mounted on the long shaft of the motor, featuring a short axial dimension and a compact structure. The configuration of the pump's bearing with the motor is rational, effectively balancing the radial and axial loads generated during pump operation. This ensures minimal vibration and low noise for the vertical centrifugal pump.
