⑨ There are two different installation methods: the fixed automatic coupling installation system and the movable free installation system.
The flow rate of the sewage pump should be selected based on the hypothetical second flow rate of domestic wastewater discharge; when there is an adjustment in the discharge volume, it can be selected according to the hourly flow rate of domestic wastewater discharge. The flow rate of the drainage pump in the fire elevator's collection sump should not be less than 10L/s. After calculating the lift height and pipe losses for the sewage pump's head, an additional free water head should be added. The free water head is recommended to be between 0.02~0.03 MPa, and the flow velocity of the suction and discharge pipes should not be less than 0.7m/s and not exceed 2.0m/s. The flow rate of the sewage pump should be selected based on the hypothetical second flow rate of domestic wastewater discharge.
In accordance with the current regulations of the "Code," except for the mobile installation flexible hose connections, which should use fabric-reinforced rubber hoses, the drainage discharge pipes of the submersible sewage pumps can be made of rigid water supply plastic pipes, centrifugal cast ductile iron water supply pipes, steel pipes, steel-plastic composite pipes, and so on. The pressure-bearing capacity of the pipes and fittings should not be less than 0.6MPa.
5) The installation method for the submersible sewage pump used in the water collection pit of the fire elevator in buildings should be either two fixed rigid pipe connections or two fixed auto-transformer types. Additionally, the effective volume of the water collection pit should not be less than 2.0 m3, and the rated flow rate of the submersible sewage pump should not be less than 36 m3/h.
4) According to the current regulations of the "Standard," except for the mobile installation hose connection parts, which use fabric-reinforced rubber hoses, the discharge pipes of the submersible sewage pumps can be made of rigid water supply plastic pipes, centrifugal cast ductile iron water supply pipes, steel pipes, steel-plastic composite pipes, and so on. The pressure-bearing capacity of the pipes and pipe fittings should not be less than 0.6 MPa.

But everything has its two sides. For effluent pumps, the key issue is reliability, as they are used underwater; the medium they transport is a mixture of liquid containing solid particles; the pump is closely adjacent to the motor; the pump is vertically arranged, with the weight of the rotating parts and the water pressure on the impeller being in the same direction. These issues all make the effluent pump have higher requirements for sealing, motor load-bearing capacity, bearing arrangement, and selection than general sewage pumps.
