Product Overview:
A semi-welded plate heat exchanger is a type of heat exchanger where two plates are laser-welded along the sealing groove, sealed with gaskets, and then assembled in an interleaved manner between fixed and movable clamping plates.
The equipment employs a box-type plate assembly technology, not the conventional plates. In each plate assembly, the non-hazardous medium flows on the gasket side, while the hazardous medium flows in the middle of the welded plates. The alternating sequence of gaskets and welding ensures that the media do not mix. It features a unique sealing system suitable for high-pressure and vacuum applications. The welding side is equipped with a custom, non-damaging circular gasket. Our semi-welded plate heat exchangers offer an extended product life and provide safe, leak-free operation, significantly reducing the exposed gasket area.

Semi-welded plate heat exchangers, utilizing advanced welding techniques, are joined with laser welding that ensures minimal deformation, low residual stress, and high quality. They feature high thermal efficiency, long service life, and ease of maintenance, making them suitable for cooling and chemical treatment. As a rational alternative to shell-and-tube and fully-welded plate heat exchangers, they are particularly well-suited for ammonia refrigerant evaporation and condensation, as well as chemical treatment processes for corrosive liquids. Mainly applied in industrial fields such as refrigeration, sulfuric acid, caustic soda, petrochemicals, metallurgy, machinery, and food processing.
