Our manufactured plate-type coolers are a new type of heat exchanger that combines the advantages of removable plate heat exchangers and compensates for the shortcomings of tubular heat exchangers. Based on the original semi-welded heat exchangers, we have completely eliminated gaskets, making them suitable for medium pressure and medium temperature applications.
Plate heat exchangers are a new type of heat exchanger made up of a series of metal plates with a certain corrugated shape. They retain the full counter-current heat exchange characteristics of removable heat exchangers and are 3-5 times more efficient than traditional shell-and-tube heat exchangers. Depending on the specific requirements of the application, plate heat exchangers are divided into three types: non-removable, one-side removable, and both-sides removable.

Principle of operation for plate coolers:
Plate-type coolers are a type of heat exchanger with a structure where adjacent plates are welded together to form two flow channels. Two media of different temperatures flow through the channels on opposite sides of the same plate. Each medium's flow channel is controlled by a sectioning baffle to regulate the flow area and length. This allows the high-temperature fluid to transfer heat to the low-temperature fluid through the plates, thereby achieving the heat exchange purpose.
