RTCKX8 Air Insulated Busway
When a busbar connection fault occurs on the double busbar, attention should be paid to the operation mode of the busbar protection during the fault elimination process, and the busbar protection should be temporarily shut down if necessary.
All bus voltages are lost, the dispatcher should immediately open all switches that may be called (including the bus tie switch), and notify the operations team to conduct an external inspection of the bus.
When the busbar slot voltage is lost due to a fault and there are clear signs of a short circuit (such as fire, explosion, smoke, etc.), the operation team members must not resume operation on their own and must conduct a detailed inspection of the busbar equipment.
If a component on the busbar fails or a branching switch fails to operate, causing a leap-fault trip that results in the busbar losing power, a thorough inspection should be conducted. Immediately isolate the faulty component within the busbar slot or trip the circuit breakers on both sides of the failed branching switch, then quickly restore the busbar's operation and send out other branches.
