Introduction: The KCB type gear pump is mainly composed of gears, shaft, pump body, safety valve, and shaft end seal. The gears, after heat treatment, possess high hardness and strength, and operate together with the shaft within replaceable shaft sleeves. The lubrication of all parts inside the pump is achieved automatically during operation, utilizing the output medium.
Purpose
The KCB type gear pump is suitable for transferring lubricating oils or other liquids similar to lubricating oils that are free of solid particles and fibers, non-corrosive, with temperatures not exceeding 80°C, and viscosities ranging from 5×10-6 to 1.5×10-3 m2/s (5-1500 cSt).
Structural characteristics
This series of gear pumps is primarily composed of gears, shafts, pump bodies, safety valves, and shaft end seals. The gears, after heat treatment, possess high hardness and strength and operate together with the shafts within replaceable shaft sleeves. All parts within the pump are lubricated automatically during operation using the output medium. The pump features well-designed oil drain and return slots, which minimize the torque forces the gears experience during operation, resulting in lower bearing loads, reduced wear, and higher pump efficiency.
The pump is equipped with a safety valve for overload protection. The full回流 pressure of the safety valve is 1.5 times the pump's rated discharge pressure, and it can also be adjusted separately within the allowable discharge pressure range as per actual needs. However, note that this safety valve is not suitable for long-term operation as a pressure-reducing valve; an additional installation on the pipeline is required if needed. Viewed from the outward extension of the main shaft towards the pump, it rotates clockwise. The performance parameters of each type of gear pump are determined at a medium viscosity of 4×10-3 m2/s (40 cSt). The parameter values provided in the performance parameter table are applicable within a medium viscosity range of 1×10-5 to 8×10-5 m2/s (10 to 80 cSt); for values outside this range, they are determined separately based on the user's specified performance parameters. The discharge pressure values provided in the performance parameters of each type of gear pump are the maximum working pressure values. Within this range, the pump operates normally, with the working range shown in Figure 1. The KCB series gear oil pump is composed of components such as the pump body, front and rear pump covers, gears, main and driven shafts, bearings, safety valves, and shaft end seals. The KCB18.3-83.3 main drive gears are a pair of helical cylindrical gears, equipped with a direct-acting safety valve. The KCB200-960 main drive gears are a human-shaped gear set composed of four helical gears, equipped with a differential pressure safety valve. The entire series of gear oil pumps are assembled with a three-jaw elastic coupling and a thermal oil pump unit with an electric motor. This series of gear oil pumps feature a simple and compact structure, easy operation and maintenance, stable operation, and safe and reliable use.
Application Scope
This gear oil pump is suitable for transporting heavy oils, diesel, mechanical oils, vegetable oils, and other liquids with similar properties, which have a viscosity not exceeding 150 mm²/s, a temperature not exceeding 120°C, are non-corrosive, and do not contain hard particle impurities or fibers.
This type of gear oil pump is mainly used for the transfer, pressurization, and fuel injection of oil media in industries such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, mining, and power stations, as well as in the rare oil circulation of large machinery and equipment. It can also be used as a lubricating pump in various types of machinery and equipment.
In oil transportation systems, used as transmission and booster pumps; in fuel systems, as fuel pumps for conveyance, pressurization, and injection; and in all industrial fields, suitable as lubricating oil pumps.
