High-shear three-grade colloidal mill (also known as high-shear dispersing and emulsifying machine or pipeline emulsifying machine) is mainly used for the mixing, homogenization, dispersion, and emulsification of materials, featuring strong versatility and wide applications. Generally, it serves as an initial or intermediate stage for material mixing, homogenization, and emulsification.
Operating Principle
The high-shear three-stage colloid mill operates on the principle that, under the high-speed drive of the motor, the material is rapidly moved within the narrow space between the multi-layer rotors and stators. Due to a special structure, the material undergoes hundreds of thousands to millions of high-speed shearing actions per minute within the working chamber, creating intense hydraulic shearing and turbulence. This results in comprehensive dispersion, homogenization, emulsification, crushing, refinement, and mixing, meeting the process requirements. The more layers of rotors and stators in the working chamber, the larger the shearing surface and the better the effect. The material can be refined to as small as 0.5 micrometers. It is a multi-functional device that integrates dispersion, homogenization, crushing, emulsification, mixing, dissolution, suspension, and conveying, enhancing the quality and taste of your products.
