Description

Product Introduction
A batch-type continuous dryer is a conductive continuous drying equipment. Its unique structure and working principle ensure it features high thermal efficiency, low energy consumption, small land occupation, simple configuration, convenient operation and control, as well as a good operating environment. It is widely applicable to drying operations in industries such as chemicals, food, feed, and agricultural and sideline products processing, and has received positive feedback in practical applications across various industries. Currently, we produce three types (atmospheric, closed, and vacuum), four capacities (1200, 1500, 2200, 3000), and three material options: A (carbon steel), B (contact material parts are distributed with stainless steel), and C (in addition to B, includes steam piping, main shaft, and支架 made of stainless steel, with the drum and lid lined with stainless steel). With drying areas ranging from 4 to 180 m², we offer a series of hundreds of models, along with complementary auxiliary equipment to meet the drying needs for various materials.
Operating Principle
Wet material is continuously added to the upper layer of the dryer on a rotating arm equipped with rake blades, which continuously turn over the material. The material flows over the surface of the drying tray along an exponential spiral line, where it is moved to the outer edge of the small drying tray and falls to the outer edge of the larger drying tray below. The material then moves inward on the large tray and falls through the middle discharge opening into the next layer of smaller trays. The trays of different sizes are alternately arranged vertically, allowing the material to continuously pass through the entire dryer. A heating medium, such as saturated steam, hot water, or thermal oil, is introduced into the hollow drying trays, entering at one end and exiting at the other. The dried material falls from the upper tray to the bottom of the shell and is then conveyed by the rake blades to the discharge point. Moisture evaporates from the material and is expelled through a moisture exhaust port located on the top cover. The moisture from the vacuum disk dryer is expelled through a vacuum pump port also on the top cover. The dried material discharged from the bottom can be directly packaged. By adding auxiliary equipment such as finned heaters, solvent recovery condensers, bag dust collectors, dry material recirculation mechanisms, and induced draft fans, the drying capacity can be increased, allowing for the drying of paste-like and heat-sensitive materials. Solvents can be conveniently recovered, and thermal decomposition and reaction operations can be performed.
Performance Features
(1) Easy to adjust and versatile
Achieve optimal drying by adjusting the thickness of the material layer, spindle speed, number of rakes, and the type and size of the rake blades.
Each drying tray can be individually heated or cooled through the introduction of hot or cold medium, providing precise and easy temperature control of the material.
The material's dwell time can be adjusted.
The material flows in a single direction without any mixing back, is dry and even, of stable quality, and does not require further blending.
(II) Easy to operate, straightforward
The operation of starting and stopping the desiccant is extremely simple.
After stopping the material supply, the conveyor material scraper blades can quickly empty the material inside the drier.
Through the viewports of the special large inspection door, a very thorough cleaning and observation of the equipment interior can be conducted.
(3) Low energy consumption
The material layers are thin, the main shaft rotates at a low speed, the power required for the material conveying system is small, and the electricity consumption is low.

(4) Excellent operational environment, recyclable solvents, dust emissions meet requirements.
◎ Atmospheric Type: Due to the low air velocity inside the equipment and the humidity distribution being higher at the top and lower at the bottom, dust is difficult to rise to the top of the equipment. Therefore, the exhaust gas emitted from the moisture exhaust outlet at the top contains almost no dust.
◎Sealed Type: Equipped with solvent recovery unit, it allows for convenient recovery of organic solvents from moist gas. The solvent recovery unit is simple and has a high recovery rate. For flammable, explosive, toxic, and easily oxidizable materials, nitrogen can be used as the moist gas for closed-loop circulation, ensuring safe operation. Particularly suitable for drying flammable, explosive, and toxic materials.
Vacuum Type: A disk dryer operated under vacuum, particularly suitable for drying heat-sensitive materials.
(Easy to install, minimal land area required)
The dehumidifier is factory-assembled and transported as a whole unit. Simply hoist into place, and installation and alignment are very easy.
Due to the dry disk layer arrangement and vertical installation, even with a large drying area, the footprint is minimal.
Technical Specifications
(Dry plate)
Design Pressure: Generally 0.4 MPa, with a maximum of 1.6 MPa.
High operating pressure: Generally ≤0.4 MPa, up to 1.6 MPa.
Heating Medium: Steam, hot water, thermal oil. Use hot water for heating at 100°C, saturated steam or superheated steam at ≤0.4MPa for temperatures between 100°C and 150°C, thermal oil for temperatures between 150°C and 320°C, and electric, thermal oil, or molten salt heating methods for temperatures above 320°C.
Material Conveyance System
Spindle Speed: 1-10 rpm, electromagnetic or variable frequency stepless speed control.
Rake arms: Each layer of the drying tray is equipped with 2 to 8 rake arms fixed to the main shaft.
Rake Blades: Jointed onto the rake arm, capable of floating up and down with the pan surface to maintain contact, available in various styles.
◎Rolling: For materials that tend to clog or require crushing, adding rolling at appropriate locations can enhance the heat transfer and drying process.
(3) The housing is available in three types: atmospheric pressure, sealed, and vacuum.
◎ Atmospheric Type: Cylindrical or octagonal prism shape, available in integral and split structures. The main inlet and outlet pipes for the heating medium can be inside or outside the shell.
Sealed Type: Cylindrical shell, capable of withstanding an internal pressure of up to 5Kpa. The main inlet and outlet pipes for the heating medium can be located either inside or outside the shell.
Vacuum Type: Cylindrical shell, designed for a pressure of 0.1 Mpa, with the main inlet and outlet piping for the heating medium located inside the shell.
