Evaporative Condenser

Introduction
Evaporative condensers, also known as evaporative coolers or condensers, are devices that utilize the evaporation of spray water outside the refrigeration coils to absorb heat from the high-temperature gaseous refrigerant inside, gradually cooling the refrigerant from a gas to a liquid state.
 
Composition
The refrigeration evaporative condenser is composed of components such as an axial flow fan, spray nozzles, an electronic descaling device, a collection bag, PVC heat exchange plates, a cooling tube assembly, a filling water collection trough, a pump, a water collector, and a housing.
 
Operating Principle
The evaporative condenser is the main heat exchange equipment in the refrigeration system. Its working principle is as follows: The overheated high-pressure refrigerant gas discharged by the compressor in the refrigeration system passes through the condenser pipes in the evaporative condenser, where it undergoes heat exchange with the spray water and air outside the pipes. This causes the high-temperature gaseous refrigerant to gradually condense into a liquid refrigerant as it flows downward through the pipes. The wind force from the配套引风机的wind fan ensures that the spray water is evenly distributed over the coil surface, enhancing the heat exchange efficiency. As the spray water temperature rises, it partially evaporates, utilizing the latent heat of vaporization to carry away a large amount of heat. The water droplets in the hot air are intercepted by a dehydration unit, along with the rest of the water that has absorbed heat, and they fall into the heat exchange layer of the PVC spray plates. They are then cooled by the passing air, their temperature decreases, they enter the water tank, and are recirculated by the circulating pump. The water vapor evaporated into the air is automatically replenished by the water level regulator.
Heat exchanger tubes come in various forms, commonly including carbon steel hot-dipped galvanized tubes (available in round and elliptical shapes), aluminum alloy tubes, and stainless steel tubes (divided into 316/316L round tubes and bell and tongue tubes). The carbon steel hot-dipped galvanized evaporative condensers are among the earliest products in use, accounting for a large portion of the domestic market, and are mainly used for high-pressure gas condensation and cooling, with a pressure range of 0-30MPa. Aluminum alloy evaporative condensers are a new generation of energy-saving products, suitable for refrigerant condensation in ice machines, with a pressure range of 0-5MPa. Stainless steel tube evaporative condensers are primarily used in corrosive gas cooling and condensation processes in some chemical factories.
The outer shell of refrigeration evaporative condensers is typically made of galvanized steel with powder coating. Later, due to its poor corrosion resistance, it has gradually been replaced by aluminum-zinc-coated steel with powder coating. The new material used in the market is aluminum-magnesium-zinc-coated steel, which has the characteristics of stainless steel, is rust-proof, has an attractive appearance, and is easy to process.
