Product Overview:
The GW-40B steel bar bending tester is a testing equipment for conducting plane bending tests in both directions on steel bars. Its main technical parameters and indicators comply with the standards of GB/T1499.2-2018 (replacing GB/T1499.2-2007), "Part 2: Hot-rolled ribbed steel bars for reinforced concrete" and GB/T28900-2012, "Test methods for steel bars for reinforced concrete." It also adheres to YB/T5126-2003 ("Test methods for bending and reverse bending of steel bars for reinforced concrete" replacing GB5029-85 "Test methods for plane reverse bending of steel bars"). This equipment is indispensable for steel mills and construction units to inspect the reverse bending performance of threaded steel bars and is also suitable for on-site steel bar bending in the construction industry, providing dual functionality for testing and construction.
The GW-40B model is a replacement for the GW-2/25 and GW-2/40 models, capable of replacing two machines with just one, saving costs for customers through the use of different specification accessories. The equipment boasts comprehensive performance, excellent quality, and features such as a compact and small structure, simple operation, intuitive digital display of bending angles, smooth operation with low noise, reliable use, long lifespan, reasonable design, easy maintenance, and simple lubrication. The equipment's limit switch has been changed to a mechanical limit switch, making it more convenient and durable to use, with a more rational design of replaceable parts, and the replaceable parts' cutting edges are easy to replace. Additionally, the equipment has been enhanced with a photoelectric switch abnormal controller alarm function, preventing damage to the equipment due to issues with the proximity switch signal collection, which could cause the system to stop running.

GB/T1499.2-2018 Rebar Double-Bend Testing Machine Operation:
Prior to the test, turn on the power switch, set the values for the forward and reverse bending angles, press the "Set" button and use the "Select" keypad to choose between forward and reverse bending, use the "<" or ">" buttons to select the number of cursor positions, and use the "+" and "-" keys to increment or decrement the numbers. Then, press the "Confirm" button to set the angle, and you can proceed with the bending test on the steel bars.
Automatic straightening and bending test: As shown in Figure 3, mount the working shaft and bending center on the work plate. Press the "Reverse Bending" button to rotate the work plate back to the starting position. Place the steel bar for testing, and use the clamping device to secure the specimen. Then, press the "Straight Bending" button to bring the straight bending working shaft close to and touch the specimen. Press the "Automatic Straight Bending" button, and the testing machine will automatically bend in the positive (clockwise) direction, continuously displaying the current bending angle. When it reaches the set angle, the machine will automatically stop. Press the "Zero" button to prepare for the next test.
Automatic Reverse Bend Test: Place the sample after positive bending and the reverse bending working shaft as shown in Figure 4. Clamp the sample using the clamping device, press the "Single Reverse Bend" button to bring the reverse bending working shaft close to and touch the sample, then bring the other end of the sample close to and touch the reverse stop shaft. After that, press the "Automatic Reverse Bend" button. The testing machine will then automatically perform reverse (counterclockwise) bending and continuously display the current reverse bending angle. When it reaches the set reverse bending angle, the machine will automatically stop. Press the "Zero" button to prepare for the next test.
