If river waste is not cleaned up promptly, it will float to various points along the river, attaching itself to aquatic plants. Over time, the aquatic plants will wither, wasting resources and creating new waste, ultimately affecting river water quality. In recent years, with the continuous deepening of the "Five Rivers Joint Management" work, the water quality in the Shangcheng District has significantly improved, which is inseparable from the daily cleaning efforts by the river management office's cleaning staff.
Traditional water surface waste collection devices mainly rely on manual retrieval, which is inefficient and labor-intensive, with no safety measures in place. In some areas, waste collection can only be done manually. Our designed vortex water surface waste collection robot is powered by solar energy, automatically absorbs waste through vortex action, and can be remotely controlled via a control system. This reduces the difficulty of manual retrieval and achieves energy conservation and utilization, while being environmentally friendly, flexible, convenient, quick, adaptable, and highly efficient. It can be widely used for floating debris collection in small water bodies such as artificial lakes.
