Cautionary Notes for Handling and Transportation of Bulk Bags
Do not stand under the shipping bags during lifting operations.
2. Please hang the hook in the center of the sling or rope, avoiding slanting or single-side吊 the container bags.
3. Avoid friction, snagging, or collision with other items during handling, and do not hook or bump the container bags.
Do not pull the straps outward in a reverse direction.
5. When using a forklift for handling bulk bags, please avoid the forks contacting or piercing the bag body to prevent puncturing the bulk bag.
Use of Bulk Bags
①Filling. First, hang the lifting ring of the bulk bag symmetrically on the crossbeam of the filling machine, ensuring the bottom of the bag is mostly in contact with the ground. Then, open the filling opening of the bulk bag, place the filling tube inside, and secure it with the clamping device to prevent dust or particles from escaping. Start the filling machine to load the raw material into the bag through the filling opening. Straighten the bag first before filling. After filling is complete, close the filling opening. If using a bulk bag with a discharge opening, check if the bottom is properly sealed before filling.
② Loading. Hang the lifting rings of the container bags evenly on the lifting device, and choose forklifts, cranes, or hoists based on the type and weight of the container bags. When using a forklift to lift the container bags, adjust the blade to the correct position, ensuring the bags are tightly against the forklift and not tilted forward. To maintain balance of the bag's center of gravity during lifting, avoid hanging with a single ring. Then, slowly lift the container bags using the lifting device and place them evenly on the train (or truck) deck after reaching a certain height. If immediate loading is not required, stack them neatly and consistently on the work site. During lifting and stacking, avoid pressing against, tilting, or colliding with each other.
③ Storage. Ideally, after the bulk bags are loaded with materials, they should be transported immediately. However, if circumstances require otherwise and they cannot be shipped immediately, to prevent material damage, the bulk bags should be stored in a warehouse. The surrounding environment should be away from water, steam, humidity, and high-temperature sources. If stored outdoors, in addition to meeting the above environmental conditions, it is also important to cover them with a tarpaulin and avoid direct sunlight.
④ Unloading. Use a forklift or crane to lift the bulk bags, align them with the opening of the hopper or other containers. Loosen the tie绳 at the bottom of the bag to allow the raw materials to fall out. Unloading is complete. For disposable bulk bags, you can puncture the bottom from a distance using an appropriate tool. Avoid standing under the bulk bags during the lifting and unloading operation.
