        Distillation tower is a tower type gas-liquid contact device used for distillation.

        There are two main types of towers: plate towers and packed towers.

        The comparison between plate tower and packed tower is a complex issue involving many factors. When selecting, material properties, operating conditions, tower equipment performance, as well as tower equipment manufacturing, installation, operation, and maintenance should be considered.

        The distillation principle of a distillation tower is to partially vaporize a liquid mixture and utilize the different volatility characteristics of each group to achieve separation. The tower kettle is liquid, and gas is distilled from the top of the tower.

        The main function is to separate mixed liquids, using the principle of different liquids under different conditions, such as temperature and volatility (boiling point), to achieve purification effect.
