Semi-welded plate heat exchangers are specifically designed for heating and cooling corrosive media. Two corrugated plates are positioned back-to-back and welded together along a laser-sealed groove designed for the gaskets of the semi-welded PHE, forming a "box." The semi-welded plates of the PHE are specifically designed for corrosive media. Typically, we have two PHE stainless steel plates positioned back-to-back along the sealing groove, creating a plate box with a gasket seal. Refrigerant flows from one box to another, only contacting two of the four annular gaskets at the inlet and outlet.
What are the advantages of semi-welded plate heat exchangers?
1. Wide temperature range from -38℃ to 200℃
2. Design pressure up to 30 bar
3. Rigid mechanical structure
4. Excellent leak-proof performance, high safety standards
5. Ability to handle aggressive media
6. Adjustable Size
7. Compact structure, small installation space.
