Hydraulic expansion pipe anchors were developed and produced in 1982 as a support product, widely used in various industries for supporting loose and soft rock formations and high-pressure, large-deformation geological surrounding rocks in tunnels. They can rapidly control the deformation of the surrounding rocks and maintain the stability of the tunnel space. In 1992, when the Kailuan Mining Bureau dealt with large-scale side drifts, it was referred to as the "Coal God's Needle." In 1994, the product passed the promotion and evaluation of the Tunnel and Underground Engineering Society of the Chinese Civil Engineering Society. In 2000, it obtained the Science and Technology Achievement Evaluation Certificate from the China Railway Engineering Corporation.

Instructions for Use:
1. Determine the anchor bolt hole positions according to design requirements and drill holes using drilling equipment.
2. Blow clean the rock dust inside the holes with compressed air.
3. Install the rod body onto the anchor plate and insert into the hole.
4. Fit the syringe onto the anchor rod injection nozzle.
5. Inject 15~20 MPa high-pressure water into the anchor rod to swell it.
The bearing principle is as follows: When the anchor bolt is inflated with water, 15MPa high-pressure water passes through the tube wall and acts on the rock hole, causing the rock mass to deform. The metal tube wall then undergoes plastic deformation, embedding within the rock mass. The anchor bolt can bear immediately after installation, with a high bearing capacity.
