I. Introduction to Hollow Grouting Anchor Bolt
Hollow grouting anchor bodies are essentially grouting pipes. After injecting grout, they not only anchor the rod but also, when the grouting pressure is high, some of the grout seeps into the fissures of the anchor hole, reinforcing the surrounding rock. A plug and a vent pipe should be installed in the upward hole.
Main Components of Hollow Anchor Rod: The hollow anchor rod body, plug, washer, nut, and anchor head (bit) make up the hollow anchor rod.

● The upward exhaust anchor head is used to completely resolve the exhaust issue of hollow anchor rods above the horizontal line.

Hollow anchor rods are suitable for medium geological conditions, temporary support, and advanced support. They are primarily used in projects such as railways, highways, tunnels, mines, hydraulic hubs, slopes, embankments, bridge foundations, riverbank areas, and high-rise building foundations, as well as for reinforcing structures. By pressure grouting through the hollow anchor rod body, it can achieve the purpose of consolidating fractured rock masses, intercepting groundwater, and preventing corrosion of the rod body, enabling rapid formation of support forces and controlling the stability of surrounding rock.
IV. Precautions for Hollow Grouting Anchor Rod Construction
Workers must wear protective gear while casting.
● Thoroughly inspect machinery, equipment, and wiring to avoid electric shock injuries.
● Operators strictly follow the operational procedures.
The grouting worker and the grouting pump operator must be well-coordinated.
Once casting is complete, close the valve first, then attend to the slurry pump.
● The injection port is not to be aimed at people.
