Rotary Extract Tower

The extraction process in a tray-type extractive tower is essentially a process of phase equilibrium.
1. Distribute one phase into another, creating a large phase interface area.
2. Mass transfer occurs upon contact between the dispersed droplets and the continuous phase, and the mass transfer process is driven to approach equilibrium.
3. Coalescence of dispersed droplets.
During the extraction process, the "dispersion-coalescence-redispersion" of droplets continuously cycles through the "dispersion-mass transfer-coalescence" and "redispersion-mass transfer-coalescence" processes. The mass transfer mechanism has a significant impact on the performance of extraction equipment.
