Description:We primarily deal in various steel products such as color-coated coils, color-coated plates, Baosteel color-coated coils, galvanized steel coils, electro-galvanized steel coils, aluminum-zinc coated steel coils, colored aluminum coils, aluminum mirror coils, cold-rolled steel coils, and hot-rolled steel coils from major domestic steel mills. We maintain stable cooperative relationships with large steel mills like Baosteel, Maanshan Steel, Wuhan Iron and Steel, BHP Billiton Australia, POSCO Korea, and Yehui Taiwan.
Film hardness is one of the important properties indicating the mechanical strength of the coating, and it serves as a crucial indicator for assessing the quality of paint. Different coatings, due to varying application purposes, require different levels of hardness.
The pencil hardness of the paint film is referred to as the hardness of the pencil that pushes the paint film without scratching it, using a pencil with a known hardness standard.
The coating thickness measurement of Baosteel's color coated steel coils aims to rationally select and effectively utilize different types of coatings with varying thicknesses to achieve optimal mechanical, physical properties, and weather resistance.
Leakage at the color steel coil roof screws and fasteners is quite common.
Due to excessive or insufficient torque during installation, or if the screws are misaligned or oblique, the rubber gasket of the self-tapping screw may deform or detach, creating a concave surface. This can lead to pinpoint leaks in the roof, which accumulate to form point leaks.
Galvanized steel coil joints are leaking. The boards are not tightly joined or the overlap length is insufficient, and the self-tapping screws are not fully engaged, creating gaps which lead to leaks at the horizontal joints. If the corrugations of the steel coil are too low or do not overlap by at least 360 degrees, during heavy rainfall when the water level exceeds the corrugations, it can easily cause extensive leaks that are hard to detect.
Gutter corrosion and leakage. Due to the thinness of steel plates in gutter steel structures, welds often have issues, and the water surface inside the gutters is generally not properly treated for corrosion prevention or the corrosion prevention measures are not standardized. After some use, severe corrosion occurs, leading to leakage.
The metal material of the color coated steel sheet has a high thermal conductivity coefficient. When there is a significant change in the external temperature, due to the large temperature difference in the environment, the color steel coil may contract and deform, resulting in a significant displacement at the joints. Consequently, there is a tendency for water leakage at the interface of the metal plates.
Design of color steel coil roof drainage slopes. The roof drainage slope should not be designed too shallow, typically using a slope of 1/8 to 1/20 in general design. Due to abundant rainfall during the rainy season, a higher slope value can be chosen for the roof drainage.

The coated layer and coating types of color coated steel sheets are diverse. They should be selected based on the application environment and requirements, weighing various factors such as technology and competition. The correct analysis of the manufacturers of color coated steel sheets, the manufacturers of color coated steel sheet products, and the performance data of color coated steel sheets provided by research institutions from various countries or regions, considering the operating positions, responsibilities, interests, and scientific factors of each entity, is crucial for making a choice. Color coated steel sheets with galvanized steel as the base material, in addition to zinc protection, the coating on the zinc layer acts as a covering isolation, preventing the steel sheet from rusting and extending the service life compared to galvanized steel. It is reported that the service life of the coated steel sheet is 50% longer than that of galvanized steel. The grade of color coated steel sheets consists of three parts: the color coated code, the base material characteristic code, and the base material type code, connected by a plus sign “+”.
1. Method for calculating the number of feet per ton for colored coated steel sheets: 1000 ÷ 7.85 ÷ Base Sheet Thickness ÷ Width (1000 ÷ Specific Gravity)
2. Calculation method for square footage per ton of coated steel sheet: 1000 ÷ 7.85 ÷ base sheet thickness
3. Color coated steel sheet density calculation method: 7.85 - base sheet thickness (1000 ÷ the number of meters per ton)
Trend in Color Coated钢板: 1. Higher quality base plates are being used, with increasing demands for surface finish, sheet shape, and dimensional accuracy.
Color coated steel sheet trend: 2: Improving pretreatment processes and chemicals, with fewer equipment and lower costs becoming the mainstream, continuously enhancing the stability, corrosion resistance, and environmental performance of pretreatment chemicals.
Color coated steel sheet trends: 3: Develop new coatings to enhance color reproducibility, UV resistance, and corrosion resistance; develop functional coatings with properties like anti-pollution and heat absorption.
Color coated steel sheet trend: 4: More comprehensive group equipment.
Color coated steel sheet trends: The cold rolled embossed sheet is more cost-effective, aesthetically pleasing, has a strong three-dimensional feel, and is highly durable, making cold rolled embossing technology a trend.
Color Coated Sheet Trend: 6, focusing on diversification, functionalization, and advancement, such as deep drawing color coated sheet, "grapefruit peel" color coated sheet, antistatic color coated sheet, anti-pollution color coated sheet, and high heat absorption color coated sheet, etc.
Color coated aluminum coils are produced by surface coating and coloring aluminum sheets, including polyester coated aluminum coils and fluorocarbon coated aluminum coils, and are one of the light metal materials. Aluminum-zinc coated steel sheets with color coating are treated with a chemical conversion coating on the surface of the aluminum-zinc coated steel sheets in a continuous process. A primer layer (5-7um) is then applied, followed by a topcoat of approximately 20um, as per customer requirements. Due to the light weight of the zinc layer on the aluminum-zinc coated steel sheets, the unfolded area per ton of steel is greater than that of galvanized steel sheets with the same zinc layer thickness. The aluminum-zinc color steel coils have both the corrosion resistance of 55% AL-Zn steel sheets and excellent weather resistance and workability. Their attractive surface finish makes them widely used for building facades and roofs.
Our company has a modern galvanized aluminum coil processing factory, capable of providing products as per customer requirements.
Steel Color Coated Sheet Processing (Custom Made/), Steel Coil Slitting, Cutting to Length, Semi-finished Product Processing, Punching, Coating Services. When selecting color steel coils, we often hear a word, thickness, which is also a key factor in purchasing color steel coils.
A crucial issue to note is that the required thickness of color-coated steel coils varies depending on the location. Therefore, it's essential to understand the thickness of color-coated steel coils before purchasing them.
