This thick slurry pump, also known as a screw pump, is a novel pump independently designed in our country. It is characterized by its simple structure, smooth operation, ease of use, and versatility for use anywhere. It is suitable for the transportation of high-viscosity media, particularly in industries such as chemical plants, breweries, food factories, paper mills, canning factories, pharmaceutical factories, and breweries. Due to this, the thick slurry pump has been widely adopted by various industrial and mining enterprises and scientific research units across the nation, with excellent results.
The I-1B screw thick slurry pump is a single-screw conveying pump, with its main working components being the eccentric spiral screw (referred to as the rotor) and the screw sleeve with a double-line spiral surface on its inner surface (referred to as the stator). All metal parts in the thick slurry pump that come into contact with the material are made of stainless steel, and the sleeve is lined with non-toxic and odorless rubber. The working temperature can reach 100°C, making it suitable for conveying food slurry and solutions with a viscosity of 1-1000000 centipoise, containing solid particles or gums, as well as corrosive media for suspensions.
I-1B Screw Positive Displacement Pump Working Principle:
When the motor drives the pump shaft to rotate, the screw rotates around its own axis while also rolling along the inner surface of the sleeve, thus forming the pump's sealed chamber. With each revolution of the screw, the liquid in the sealed chamber is pushed forward by one pitch. As the screw continuously transmits power, the liquid moves in a spiral manner from one sealed chamber to another, eventually being extruded out of the pump body.
