Installation Method:
All traffic sign components transported to the construction site must meet relevant technical standards and be approved by the supervising engineer before use.
(2) Upon arrival at the site, make full use of signage, barricades, and other facilities to manage pedestrians and traffic, and strictly adhere to operational rules during construction to ensure the safety of pedestrians and workers, and to minimize the occurrence of accidents, ensuring a smooth construction process.
(3) Strictly follow the construction drawings and determine the signage placement based on the traffic flow direction.
(4) After the basic location is determined, excavation is carried out at the designated locations according to the design drawings. The foundation is then treated as per regulations, followed by the installation of formwork, reinforcement, and concrete pouring. The foot bolts and base flange are positioned correctly and reach the specified elevation.
(5) The installation of the sign support structure should be carried out after the base concrete has reached the required strength and approval from the supervising engineer. The flanges of the支柱 and the concrete foundation base should be level and tightly fitted together, with the anchor bolts properly aligned and securely tightened, ensuring that the支柱 does not tilt after the bolts are tightened.
(6) Secure the signboard to the column using sliding bolts, clamps, and other connecting accessories; ensure the inner edge of the column signboard is 20cm away from the road shoulder edge. The bottom edge of a single-column signboard should be 150cm to 250cm above the ground level. For cantilever installations, the clear height must be between 520cm and 570cm above the ground.
(7) Once the signboard is properly installed, check and adjust its verticality and height to meet the specified requirements.
(8) The sign panel for cantilever-mounted signs should be perpendicular to the centerline of the road. For pillar-mounted signs along the roadside, the sign panel should be as perpendicular to the road centerline as possible or at a certain angle: directional and warning signs should be 0 to 10 degrees, regulatory and guide signs should be 0 to 45 degrees, and sight guide signs should be 80 to 90 degrees.
(9) After the sign boards are installed, all boards should be cleaned to maintain their cleanliness.
