Adjust pressure to start:
①Prior to shipment, each safety valve should be individually adjusted to the set pressure value required by the customer. If the customer specifies the spring working pressure grade, the factory should be adjusted according to the lower limit value of the pressure grade.
② Users must re-adjust the safety valve on-site before installing it onto the protected equipment or before installation, to ensure the set pressure value of the safety valve meets the requirements.
③Within the spring working pressure range specified on the label, adjust the compression of the spring by rotating the adjusting screw to regulate the opening pressure.
④Prior to rotating the adjustment screw, the valve inlet pressure should be reduced to below 90% of the opening pressure to prevent the valve disc from being rotated during adjustment, which could damage the sealing surface.

A safety valve is an automatic valve that opens to allow rated flow when the pressure is too high. It closes automatically and prevents the medium from escaping once the pressure returns to normal. It is an essential protective device in pressure vessels and process systems, widely used in industries such as aerospace, petrochemicals, energy, and metallurgy. Since the safety valve is directly related to the performance and reliability of the equipment, we must strictly adhere to relevant standards such as API and ASME during design, material selection, manufacturing, and testing, as well as throughout the entire process of strict quality management.
To meet the overseas standards and safety valve requirements of domestic industry, after the successful development of the common safety valve, experimental safety valves and safety valve actuators were developed from the 1980s.

Oil and gas tanker trucks or rail tank cars, oil wells, high-pressure bypasses for steam power equipment, pressure pipelines, pressure vessels, etc. Safety valves are generally categorized by structure into spring-loaded safety valves, lever safety valves, and pulse safety valves, with spring-loaded safety valves being the most widely used; they are also classified by connection type into threaded safety valves and flanged safety valves. The diameters of safety valves are typically not large, with the most common sizes ranging from DN15mm to DN80mm; valves over 150mm are generally referred to as large-diameter safety valves. In 2013, the market size of the safety valve industry expanded, which is an uncontested fact. The number of enterprises in our country qualified to produce safety valves is not numerous, as safety valves fall under the special equipment industry. The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection, and Quarantine is quite strict in the review of qualifications. The substantial demand for safety valves has undoubtedly brought these qualified manufacturers more wealth opportunities.
