Product Introduction
The EDI unit is applied after the reverse osmosis system, utilizing the electrodes at both ends of the membrane modules to move charged ions in the water. It is paired with ion exchange resins and selective resin membranes to accelerate ion migration and removal, thereby achieving water purification. The resulting water's resistivity can reach 15-18MΩ. The hydrogen and hydroxide ions required for the regeneration of the ion exchange resins come from the dissociation of water under high voltage, eliminating the need for acids or bases for regeneration.
