Product Introduction
Mechanical filters, also known as pressure filters, are an early pre-treatment in the preparation of pure water and a crucial component of the water purification system. They are made of steel lined with rubber or stainless steel. Depending on the different filling media, their applications and functions vary. Common types include quartz sand filters, activated carbon filters, and manganese sand filters. They can be used individually or in combination based on actual conditions.
The media for multi-media filters include quartz sand, anthracite coal, etc. The functional chamber filters out suspended particles, mechanical impurities, organic matter, etc., reducing water turbidity. The media for activated carbon filters is activated carbon, aimed at adsorbing and removing colorants, organic matter, residual chlorine, colloids, etc. from the water. The media for manganese sand filters is manganese sand, primarily used to remove ferrous ions from the water.
