This system measures 50kV AC high voltage using the principle of a capacitive voltage divider. During measurement, the low-voltage end of the divider is connected to the measurement system, directly measuring the AC high voltage. The scale is set to AC 200, where the indicated value is the kilovolt (kV) value of high voltage. If the measurement system reads 40 on the AC 200 scale, it means the AC high voltage is 40kV.
II. Usage
The digital high-voltage gauge is primarily used for measuring industrial frequency and DC high voltages. It sends the low-voltage measurement signal, after voltage division through the cable, to a dedicated digital meter. It allows for direct reading of AC or DC high voltages.
