A variety of vibrations and noises affect the surrounding environment, harm human health, damage buildings, and reduce the accuracy of machinery and equipment, especially causing interference to the operation of valuable instruments. Moreover, the vibration itself can damage the machinery, shortening its service life. Therefore, using elastic elements to isolate vibrations and prevent their transmission is an ideal method to eliminate vibrations and protect the environment, buildings, machinery, and equipment.
Our factory's shock absorber design incorporates the characteristics of steel spring shock absorbers, overcoming the phenomenon of resonance at low damping ratios. It can protect the isolation efficiency from dropping when the damping ratio is increased to 0.15-0.18 (with a higher damping ratio of 0.085). Therefore, our shock absorber combines the low-frequency characteristics of steel spring shock absorption, achieving isolation effects across high, medium, and low interference frequencies, while also featuring the high damping ratio of rubber shock absorbers. This allows for the elimination of the unique resonance phenomenon of steel springs, ensuring no excitation (amplitude A=0.01mm) during the transition from driving to stopping, with a stopping time of 1.6 seconds. After installing the shock absorber, the equipment can quickly cross the resonance zone during start-up and shutdown, maintaining balance without swaying. The isolation efficiency is ≥85%, making this shock absorber unnecessary to be anchored to large concrete bases, capable of supporting the total weight of the equipment, and suitable for installation on the ground, floors, and platforms. It can also be mounted without the need for anchor bolts, significantly reducing the installation time. It is a simple, speed-appropriate, and economically reasonable multi-functional universal shock absorber with damping springs.
Our vibration dampers are made with 60Si2Mn spring steel, offering advantages such as fatigue resistance, high strength, large bearing capacity, and long service life.
