Vibration and noise of various types affect the surrounding environment, harm human health, damage buildings, and reduce the accuracy of machinery and equipment, particularly disrupting the operation of valuable instruments. Moreover, the vibration itself can cause damage to the machines, shortening their lifespan. Therefore, using elastic elements to isolate vibration and prevent its transmission is an ideal method to eliminate vibration, protect the environment, buildings, machinery, and equipment.
Our factory's shock absorber design incorporates the characteristics of steel spring shock absorbers, overcoming the phenomenon of resonance at low damping ratios. It can maintain vibration isolation efficiency when the damping ratio is increased to 0.15-0.18 (for higher damping ratios of 0.085). Thus, our shock absorber combines the low-frequency characteristics of steel spring vibration isolation with the high damping ratio of rubber shock absorbers, eliminating the resonance phenomenon unique to steel springs. This ensures smooth operation from start to stop with no excitation (amplitude A=0.01mm) and a stop time of 1.6 seconds. After installation, the shock absorber allows quick passage over the resonance zone during start-up and shutdown, maintaining balance without swinging, with vibration isolation efficiency ≥85%. This shock absorber does not require large concrete foundations, can support the total weight of the equipment, and can be installed on the ground, floors, or platforms. It can also be mounted without anchor bolts, significantly reducing the installation time. It is a simple, speed-appropriate, and economically reasonable multi-functional universal damping spring suspension shock absorber.
Our shock absorbers are made with 60Si2Mn spring steel, offering advantages such as fatigue resistance, high strength, large bearing capacity, and long service life.
