Standard Industrial Dimensions
Standard industrial 4-series dimensional design, 20 x 16.6mm cylindrical housing, allowing for easy iteration of new product designs. Suitable for fixed gas detectors and portable testing instruments, it saves on housing design costs for new product upgrades. Standard three-terminal lead dimensions (VCC 电源正, GND 电源负, IO 数据收发).
Factory Pre-Calibration
Each DS4 intelligent gas sensor is factory-calibrated for gas, with calibration information stored internally on the product's chip. Users can use the sensor directly without the need for additional gas calibration. The factory calibration employs a diffused gas calibration method and a simulated environmental climate calibration approach, which are more closely aligned with the actual application environment at the user's site, enhancing the accuracy of data from gas detection instruments using diffused measurement (When the gas detection instrument uses a pump-suction measurement method, a secondary calibration is required based on the design parameters of the instrument system).
No preheating required
Intelligent hardware design maintains gas sensors in an operational state even without power, ensuring immediate gas monitoring upon powering up anywhere, anytime. Whether in IoT applications or battery-powered scenarios, our energy-efficient and low-power design eliminates concerns about long preheating wait times and slow data acquisition.
User-Defined Encryption Code Feature
Users can customize their own user codes for identification purposes on the meter. When inserting different types, the meter can automatically verify if the user code is correct. For incorrect user codes, the meter can display an error prompt to remind the user to insert the correct sensor.
Low-power sleep mode feature
The sensor features a sleep mode, allowing users to customize sleep and wake-up modes, suitable for low-power batteries or IoT applications.
Self-identification function
The DS4 sensor outputs identity information such as gas type, detection range, etc., which is beneficial for designing self-identification functions and provides more flexibility in use.
Simple and easy-to-use UART digital output
The DS4 sensor outputs signal in UART 3.3V half-duplex single bus mode, eliminating the need for complex communication protocols. It directly outputs the gas concentration value, making it flexible, simple, and quick for secondary development application design.
Convenient maintenance
Plug and Play, with hot-pluggable capability, open calibration protocols, supporting secondary offline calibration for after-sales service, and a one-button factory reset design. Plug and Play enables offline calibration, eliminating the need to bring hazardous gases into the testing environment for instrument ventilation calibration, thus avoiding safety risks and environmental contamination, making maintenance safer, more convenient, and simpler.
