Product Overview
TB600B Series Odor SmellThe detection module integrates advanced German precision detection technologies and the design philosophy of the German team. It employs the compact German EC Sense solid polymer sensor, a global leader in electrochemical sensing. It can accurately detect gas concentrations, replacing the need for our sense of smell. The UART digital signal output eliminates the need for customers to understand sensor applications and the cumbersome calibration process.
Testing Principle
Solid-state polymer electrochemical sensing technology represents an innovation in the field of electrochemical detection. This technology is based on the principle of electrochemical gas detection, measuring various gases that can be chemically decomposed. The sensor consists of three electrodes in contact with the electrolyte, typically made of noble metals with large surface areas and other materials. The electrodes, electrolyte, and ambient air interact, allowing gases to diffuse into the sensor's working electrode through a porous membrane. On this electrode, the gases are oxidized or reduced, causing an electrochemical reaction that generates a current through an external circuit.
