Product Overview
TB600C Series SMELL: OdorThe module integrates numerous high-precision detection technologies from Germany, along with the design philosophy of the German team. It employs the EC Sense solid polymer sensors from Germany, which are among the smallest in the global electrochemical field. These sensors can accurately detect gas concentrations, replacing our sense of smell and enabling precise monitoring. The UART digital signal output eliminates the need for customers to understand the sensor application and the cumbersome calibration process.
Principle of Testing
Solid-state polymer electrochemical sensing technology represents an innovation in the field of electrochemical detection. The technology is based on the principle of electrochemical gas detection, measuring various gases that can be chemically decomposed. The sensor consists of three electrodes in contact with the electrolyte, with typical electrodes made of noble metals with large surface area and other materials. The electrodes, electrolyte, and surrounding air come into contact, allowing gases to diffuse into the working electrode of the sensor through a porous membrane. On this electrode, the gases are oxidized or reduced, causing an electrochemical reaction that generates a current through an external circuit.
