The steam separator is a pressure vessel structure made of carbon steel or stainless steel. The steam separator must be installed on a horizontal pipeline, with the drain outlet pointing vertically downwards. All sizes of steam separators come with an installation bracket to reduce pipeline load. To ensure the rapid discharge of the separated liquid, a suitable combination of drain valves should be connected to the drain outlet at the bottom of the steam separator. Such valves are generally installed horizontally within the pipeline.
