The Fasseler-specific Honing Liquid Expansion Clamp is a specialized fixture designed for the Fasseler Honing Machine, primarily used to securely hold workpieces during the honing process, ensuring precision and stability. Below is a detailed analysis of the Fasseler-specific Honing Liquid Expansion Clamp:
I. Structural Features
The collet胀胀clamp is typically composed of parts such as a taper seat, piston, collet, and seal ring. The taper seat and piston are mated with a stepped structure to ensure coaxial alignment. The piston's shape matches that of the taper seat, forming a tight assembly by the tolerance fit between the piston's outer diameter and the taper seat's inner hole. A hydraulic cavity is formed between the piston and the taper seat's step surfaces, used to inject hydraulic oil to generate clamping force.
Section 2: Working Principle
During the gear lapping process, first, secure the taper sleeve on the lapping machine's worktable, and connect the outlet of the hydraulic oil circuit of the worktable to the hydraulic cavity. Next, insert the shaft gear, which is fixed with the gear to be machined, into the inner hole of the spring clamp, located on the outer side of the shaft gear. Then, inject hydraulic oil into the hydraulic cavity. Under the pressure of the hydraulic oil, the piston will move downward, pulling the spring clamp down in sync. This causes the spring clamp to contact and clamp the shaft gear securely. Thus, the gear can be held firmly by the liquid expansion fixture, ensuring the machining quality of the gear.
