The EMB-STOP S-A-xx-F is a robust disc brake, specifically used as a handbrake and parking brake. In many applications, the active electric shaft brake can maintain braking even when power is cut off. Typical applications include small to medium-sized wind turbines on high-speed generator shafts, ship shafts within a low-power range, and turbines that must be stationary and fixed.

Self-locking brake
