Section 4: Operating Instructions
1、 Surge Arrester Online Monitor Current Test:
Firstly, insert the output line into the steady-state current output terminal (red and black lines into the corresponding color sockets, with the red line connected to the top of the online monitor and the black line to the bottom). Connect them to the upper and lower ends of the surge arrester monitor, then turn on the steady-state current power switch, manually adjust the current control knob, and compare the monitor's leakage current meter reading with the leakage current indicator value of the tester. If the leakage current meter reading of the monitor matches the adjusted value in the calibration instrument, it indicates that the surge arrester monitor's leakage current meter is functioning properly. Close the steady-state current test switch.
2. Surge Arrester Online Monitor Leakage Trip Test
Change the output wire to the counter test terminals (red and black wires inserted into the corresponding color sockets, and the red wire connected to the top of the online monitoring, the black wire to the bottom of the online monitoring), then turn on the counter test switch. Manually adjust the current adjustment knob until the voltmeter displays2KV-2.5KVOn the left, pressing the discharge button completes a single discharge trigger, and the corresponding online monitor's count increments by one. This indicates that the surge arrester monitor's counter is functioning properly. Proceed to the next action test. Interval between action trigger button presses3—5SAlright. The action is momentary, do not hold for too long. Turn off the power after testing.
3、 Instrument Charging Instructions
