The ball cleaning unit is a device designed for effectively cleaning the condenser tubes of steam turbine units during operation.
The performance of this device directly impacts the cleaning level and heat transfer efficiency of the steam turbine condenser. Its application range is quite extensive, covering not only the cleaning of steam turbine condensers but also those in the oil, petrochemical, chemical, and steel industries; the cleaning of cooling tubes in fixed tube plate heat exchangers; and it has entered the central air conditioning market. The device can be put into use at any time without reducing the load, ensuring the cleanliness of the cooling tubes, extending their service life, reducing labor intensity, and increasing economic benefits. It is an indispensable device for the safe and economic operation of condensers and heat exchangers in power plants, oil, petrochemical, chemical, and steel enterprises.
The Condenser Ball Cleaning Device consists of secondary filter screens, ball collection nets, ball loading chambers, ball conveyance pumps, dividers, valves, pipelines, and electrical control cabinets. The use of the ball cleaning device allows for the cleaning of the condenser without reducing the load of the unit, enhancing the heat transfer efficiency of the condenser, preventing the decrease in thermal efficiency of the turbine due to increased back pressure, and simultaneously preventing the corrosion of cooling tubes caused by scaling, thereby extending the service life of the cooling tubes. It is an ideal device for energy conservation and labor condition improvement.
For large units, a unitary system is employed, where each side of the condenser uses one ball receiver, ball room, and ball transfer pump; for smaller units, a shared system is typically utilized.
