Epoxy resin anti-corrosion steel pipes are coated with a two-component, room-temperature curing paint, reinforced with glass cloth on the surface for corrosion protection. The epoxy coal tar anti-corrosion coating is available in standard anti-corrosion, reinforced anti-corrosion (one fabric, three coatings), and extra-reinforced anti-corrosion (two fabrics, four coatings).
I. Composition:
This product is a two-component, high solid content paint, primarily composed of epoxy resin. It consists of primer and topcoat. The A component is made up of epoxy resin, pigments, fillers, and additives. The B component is a curing agent formulated with modified amines.
II. Features and Application Fields:
Excellent durability; the cured epoxy coating is tough, waterproof, non-toxic, and environmentally friendly. Strong adhesion between coatings. Excellent rust and waterproof properties, guaranteed by superior anti-rust materials. High mechanical strength, with a tough, wear-resistant, and impact-resistant coating. High solid content, with thicker film. Cures to form a film at room temperature. No need for large-scale baking equipment.
Broadly applicable for interior coating of water tanks, water pipes, reservoirs, water towers, and other water supply equipment, as well as for use in cargo holds for sugar and grain. It can also serve as an interior coating for swimming pool, power plant cooling towers, and metal and concrete structures for storing fuel oil and gasoline.
III. Technical Specifications: (Note: Chemical-resistant base layer, with a composite top layer)
Project Criteria Project Criteria
Film appearance and color: White, even film; Impact resistance: 50 kg/cm
Viscosity (Brookfield viscometer) seconds >30 Adhesion (circular scratch method) Grade 1
Drying Time: Surface Dry <2, Flexibility (mm) 1
Dry Run (h) 24; Salt Solution 3% Resistance 72h; No Change
Resistant to 10% acid, alkali, and salt; no change after 72 hours; oil-resistant; no change after 72 hours.
IV. Construction and Storage:
Before painting, the surface of the object must be cleaned of dust, oil, rust scale, etc., to achieve Sa 2.5 grade for quality assurance. Absolutely no water is allowed during the application process.
(2) The mixing ratio for construction is as follows: Open the A component wide, add the B component into the A component, and mix thoroughly. Allow to mature for 30 minutes before applying.
(3) This material requires immediate use upon mixing. The paint must be used within eight hours of mixing. Any unused material must be sealed for storage. Construction should be halted during rainy or cloudy weather or when the relative humidity exceeds 75%. For areas with severe corrosive agents, it is recommended to apply multiple coats.
(4) Products should be stored in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight, away from fire sources, and distant from heat sources. The storage period is twelve months. Upon expiration, all technical specifications should be inspected. If they meet the requirements, the products can continue to be used.
