Overview

ADF400L Series Multi-User Electric Energy Meters, available in both 12-phase three-wire and 36-phase single-wire configurations, can be directly connected for measurement or mixed measurements of direct connection and transformer connection with 12-phase three-wire transformers. This series is favored by residential areas, schools, and businesses for its high accuracy, centralized installation and management, high installation flexibility, and non-interference. The meters also support pre-paid functionality.

Selection Guide
A master module can accommodate 36 circuits (12 three-phase, 36 single-phase, or a mix of single and three-phase not exceeding 36 circuits), a direct connection module offers one three-phase or three single-phase circuits, and a transformer connection module provides two three-phase circuits.
Customer requirements: 5 three-phase sensors connected, 2 three-phase directly connected, 5 single-phase directly connected, with pre-paid feature.
Selection Description: First, determine if the number of circuits exceeds 36. Since a transformer module connects two three-phase circuits, for 5 three-phase transformer connections, it needs to be calculated as 6 three-phase circuits, totaling 6*3=18 circuits; for 2 direct three-phase connections, it totals 2*3=6 circuits; and since a direct connection module connects three single-phase circuits, for 5 single-phase connections, it needs to be calculated as 6 single-phase circuits, totaling 6 circuits. In summary, the total number of circuits is 18+6+6=30, which is less than or equal to 36.
Product Model: ADF400L-5H2S5DY
Module Composition: Due to the two-phase three-way design of a transformer module, the 5H model requires three transformer measurement modules. The 2S model needs two direct-connection measurement modules. A direct-connection module with three single-phase inputs is required for the 5D model, hence it needs two direct-connection measurement modules. In summary, this model includes one main module, three transformer input measurement modules, and four direct-connection measurement modules.
