What is a busbar trunking?
Dealing with the bewildering variety of busway slots, simply put, a closed busway is just a busway. A closed busway system consists of a metal casing (steel or aluminum plate) for protection, conductive copper or aluminum bars, insulated materials, and relevant accessories. It can be manufactured as a plug-in type closed busway with junction boxes at regular intervals, or as a power supply type closed busway without junction boxes in the middle.

Busbar channel vertically mounted
Busbars should be vertically installed with the joint distance from the ground not less than 0.6m; when installed vertically between floors, the single straight length of the busbar should not exceed 3.6m; for floors exceeding 3.6m in a single layer, they should be made in two sections or more, and intermediate fixed brackets should be installed between floors. The connection points of the busbars should not be at the floor crossing area, and when installing the floor crossing holes, no wastewater or debris should enter the busbar interior. The busbar plug-in power supply holes (diverging interfaces) should be located at convenient positions for installation and maintenance.
When installing busbars vertically, first mount the spring bracket onto the busbar, then secure the busbar and spring bracket to the channel steel bracket, and tighten the bracket's spring nut. After installing 4-5 layers, gradually loosen the nuts from top to bottom to allow the weight of the busbar to naturally bear on the bracket's spring. After the busbar is securely connected, its curvature should not exceed 1 degree. For two vertically adjacent busbars installed side by side, the edge spacing should be no less than 0.1m. When the straight length of the busbar exceeds 60m, an expansion (expansible) joint should be installed.
