Shandong University Qilu Hospital, directly administered by the National Health Commission, boasts over 130 years of history. Throughout its existence, Qilu Hospital has prioritized the humanistic care of its patients, fostering a personalized medical environment. With a presence in both Jinan and Qingdao, the hospital has established a multi-hospital development pattern, currently operating over 5,100 beds.
Since entering the 21st century, Qilu Hospital has proposed a new master plan, integrating existing medical resources. Under various constraints, it has streamlined and adjusted existing functions in conjunction with new projects like the Hua Mei Building and Women and Children's Comprehensive Building. This has optimized spatial layout and processes. Additionally, incorporating the regional historical and cultural characteristics, the overall architectural form within the planning area has been scientifically designed to create an image that coexists harmoniously with the city. The hospital embraces concepts such as three-dimensional transportation, green ecology technology, and smart city development, aiming to build a sustainable and modern medical facility.
