Principle Overview:

The internal volume of the sandblasting room forms an air flow layer from top to bottom under the influence of wind, while the abrasive material is jetted onto the workpiece surface by compressed air, cutting away chips. Some of the abrasive chips break into dust, which is then carried down by the air flow and mixed with more abrasive material and rust particles through the honeycomb back-sanding floor back to the sorting system. After sorting, reusable sand is returned to the storage bin and automatically added to the sandblasting system for recirculation based on demand; dust and impurities that cannot be reused are transported to the dust collector for fine filtration. The dust settles in the waste bin and is recycled, while the filtered gas is either released into the atmosphere or recirculated in the sandblasting room. The entire process is enclosed, with no dust leakage, ensuring safety and environmental protection.

Mechanical recirculating sandblasting rooms are complete sets of equipment consisting of the sandblasting room body, lighting system, air-powered recovery floor, separator, sandblasting system, dust collector, fan, control system, workpiece conveying system, and operator protection system.

Mechanical Recirculating Shot Blasting Room Features:

★ Eco-Friendly: The fan uses electric drive, clean and pollution-free; sandblasting is conducted in a sealed environment, and the sand material is recycled in enclosed pipes, ensuring no leakage of sand or dust that could cause pollution around the area; dust is filtered by a filter core dust collector, with the emission concentration of the filtered gas exceeding national emission standards.

★Automatic Recirculation: The system utilizes air-powered floor recovery to achieve automatic recycling of sand materials.

★Dual-purpose fan: The wind produced by the fan not only meets the requirements for conveying sand materials but also serves for dust removal in the system.

★Automatic Sorting: The separator utilizes aerodynamic principles to effectively sort sand, impurities, and dust. The recyclable sand returns to the storage bin, while the non-recyclable dust and impurities are transported to the dust collector for refined filtration.

★ Filter Core Dust Removal: The system utilizes filter core dust removal method, ensuring filtration efficiency.

★ Imported Filter Media: Made from imported long fiber materials, the filter cores offer a large filtering area, with each core having twice the filtering area of a standard core.

★Automatic Control: Automation is achievable for sand recycling, sorting, nozzle control, dust removal, and sandblasting pot operations. The system features automatic fault alarms and prompts.

High Integration: The control system employs PLC+touch screen display, enabling automatic operation mode and manual control mode.

★High-Efficiency Cleaning: Equipped with a high-pressure double-cylinder continuous sandblasting machine, a single nozzle can clean an area of 10 ~ 30 m²/h.

Compared to traditional shot blasting (ball) rooms, it boasts the following distinctive features:

1. No need for deep excavation (or no excavation required), low infrastructure costs, and short construction period.

2. Equipped with sand-suction floor, no need for traditional conveyors, belt conveyors, bucket elevators, etc., thus avoiding sand and dust wear, clogging, and other issues in the transportation and lifting process of sand materials. Low failure rate and minimal maintenance workload.

3. Equipped with abrasive separation and sorting devices, the abrasive is automatically recycled, enhancing utilization rate and sandblasting cleaning efficiency.

4. The abrasive recycling separation, sorting, and dust removal systems share a single fan, achieving multiple uses with one wind source, saving 30% of energy compared to traditional sandblasting rooms.

5. The sandblasting system allows one sand pot to power multiple high-speed blasting guns, each gun can be controlled independently, ensuring high blasting efficiency and pressure that can be infinitely adjusted.

6. Utilizing carbide-tough abrasive nozzles with an average lifespan of 800-1000 hours.

7. The sandblasting room can utilize different materials and grain sizes of abrasives simultaneously (such as steel shot, glass bead, steel sand, quartz sand, copper ore sand, yellow sand, fruit shells, etc.), catering to various process requirements.

Dust Separation System

The material and dust recovered from the honeycomb floor must be separated by a sand-dust separator to ensure the sand can continue to be recycled. The efficiency of the sand-dust separator directly impacts the sandblasting performance of the sandblasting machine and the filtration performance of the dust collector.

The sand separator utilizes a two-stage air separator specifically designed for our sandblasting systems. The first stage is a unique cyclonic inertial separator, and the second stage is an air-blowing separator. It effectively sorts returned reusable sand, crushed sand, dust, scale, and other impurities. The whole sand is returned to the shot blasting machine for continuous recycling, while the dust and crushed sand are sent to a dust collector, filtered, and stored for periodic cleaning.

Adjusting the regulating mechanism on the dust separator can regulate the size of the separated sand particle diameter. Customized dust separators can achieve gradation, segmentation (various particle sizes), and round selection for sand particles.
