Principle of Dust Removal System:
The dust removal system in the sandblasting room employs an upward air intake and downward exhaust, circulating dust collection method. Clean air enters the sandblasting chamber from the top of the room, and the dust removal fan draws the polluted air inside through various suction ports into the dust collector for collection and processing.
Due to the fact that the dust intake of the environmentally friendly pneumatic recovery sandblasting room is all located beneath the honeycomb sand collection floor, the airflow drives the dust to move from top to bottom consistently, keeping the dust confined to the lower section of the room. Consequently, the dust concentration is very low in the space above 0.5 meters within the sandblasting room, providing a favorable working environment.
Dust extraction fan ductwork can be terminated into the exhaust flue as needed, meeting the standard requirements for compliant emissions.
Due to structural reasons, traditional shot blasting rooms typically locate the dust extraction outlets at the top, resulting in a downward or horizontal dust flow. Consequently, during sandblasting operations, the dust concentration inside the room remains high, visibility is low, and the working conditions are poor.
Modular Filter Cartridge Dust Collector
Modular filter cartridge dust collectors are a key component in the sandblasting room dust removal process, directly affecting indoor air quality and outdoor emissions standards.
The filter element arrangement is well-designed, featuring a high-pressure pulse air-purge cleaning method for optimal results. This structure facilitates the even distribution of dusty gas across the filter elements within the dust collector chamber, and also aids in the immediate settling of dust particles ejected during the air-purge cleaning, minimizing the chance of secondary adsorption.
The dust collector is equipped with a portable dust collecting hopper, which features a quick-connection structure with the dust collector. It is sealed well yet easy to open, allowing cleaning workers to effortlessly open it, pull it to the designated spot for dust disposal, and even when the dust collection system is in operation, the cleaning task can be completed. No additional containers are needed for transportation, thereby preventing secondary dust飞扬 and environmental pollution.
This dust collector meets national environmental protection standards with an emissions level of ≤120mg/m³, captures particles with a size less than 5um, offers resistance less than 400Pa, boasts good air permeability, low resistance, low energy consumption, and reliable filtration performance.
The dust collector features an aesthetically pleasing, refined, and stable overall design. The filter elements are assembled using a high-speed connection method, making their disassembly and assembly extremely convenient, thereby reducing the physical labor intensity of workers and improving working conditions.

As shown in the figure, the filter cartridge is constructed in a folded cylindrical shape, with an outer diameter of 325mm, an inner diameter of 220mm, and a height of 660mm. A standard filter cartridge has a filtration area of 12m², whereas a dust collector bag of the same size has only a filtration area of 0.6m². Therefore, choosing a filter cartridge dust collector can significantly reduce the volume of the dust collector, saving space in equipment installation.
The dust cleaner's dust removal method is a key technology for its efficient operation. This dust cleaner employs a pulse reverse-jet cleaning method. Its working principle is as follows: when the pulse controller sends a signal, the pulse control valve's exhaust port opens, releasing the pressure of the gas in the pulse valve's back pressure chamber, creating a pressure difference on both sides of the diaphragm. Due to the pressure difference, the diaphragm moves, the pulse valve opens, and at this moment, compressed air is ejected through the pulse valve via the nozzle holes (the gas ejected from the nozzle is called the primary air). As the high-speed airflow passes through the Venturi tube inducer, it induces several times the volume of the primary air of surrounding air (referred to as secondary air) into the filter element, creating an instantaneous positive pressure inside the filter element, achieving the dust removal purpose. The frequency and number of the automatic pulse reverse-jet, including the reverse-jet time, are all controlled electrically and can be flexibly adjusted according to actual usage requirements.
By increasing the dust collector's filtration area, the filtration air velocity can be reduced, thereby lowering the dust emission. The filter tube dust collector has a filtration air velocity of 0.5-0.9 m/min.
The dust collector is composed of a storage ash bin and a handcart, allowing operators to conveniently transport the waste inside the ash tube to the waste disposal location.
