The GRF series safety grating blanking function can disable one or more detection axes of the safety grating sensing field. There are two types of blanking modes: fixed blanking mode for fixed positions, and floating blanking mode for moving disabled parts.
Fixed blanking mode
The fixed blanking function refers to the process of blanking any one or more light paths of a safety light curtain according to user needs, in order to eliminate the inconvenience caused by fixtures, materials, etc. blocking the light curtain during production and processing; This feature greatly improves the flexibility of installing light curtains. For example, if a user successfully sets 1-3 light beams to be hidden, the light curtain will display a lit state when the user blocks 1-3 light beams. Covering other gratings indicates a light blocking state.
Floating Hidden Mode
The floating blanking function is similar to the fixed blanking function, both aimed at shielding the optical path, with the difference being that the position of the beam being blanking is not fixed. Floating blanking only requires setting the number of blanking light paths. When the accumulated number of blocked light beams exceeds the blanking set number, the light curtain shows a shading state, and when it does not exceed it, it shows a lighting state. For example, if the number of floating blanking is set to 3, and the user blocks 3 or fewer beams cumulatively, it indicates a lit state, and if the cumulative number exceeds 3, it indicates a blocked state.
