Product Principle
Modified asphalt colloid mill main structure
The modified asphalt colloid mill is mainly composed of three parts: the motor, bearing base, and grinding head. The main unit is installed in a horizontal manner, and the motor typically uses a standard motor, but a explosion-proof motor can also be used. The grinding head's crushing chamber is generally made of stainless steel through forging, with the main components being forged in alloy and then undergoing several rough and fine machining processes before being precision manufactured on a CNC center. The quality meets advanced standards. The stator and rotor inside the working chamber can be manually adjusted during shutdown, with the adjustment range usually being 0.01-2mm. The outer shell of the grinding head is equipped with a heating device, which can be heated using thermal oil or steam. The connection is via a flanged design with the inlet at the bottom and outlet at the top. The main unit's side is the inlet, and the top is the outlet, connected by a flanged joint.
Main Equipment Composition and Working Principle
The main equipment consists of a modified asphalt colloid mill, followed by an asphalt mixer, quick-open filter, high-shear mixing pump, swelling mixer, and electrical control cabinet, among others.
Key Functions: Initially, SBS is mixed with stabilizers and asphalt, ensuring even distribution of SBS within the asphalt. It then enters the emulsified asphalt colloid mill's crushing zone, where, under the high-speed operation of special equipment, SBS is first cut and ground at high speed. After being refined, the mixture is forced through centrifugal force to enter the primary crushing and fine-grinding zone, where it is re-cut and ground at high speed, extending radially. The crushing chamber features one cutting zone and three fine-grinding zones. At each grinding stage, the fluid's direction and speed change instantaneously, subjected to millions of high-speed cuts, compressions, and grindings, leading to the breaking of liquid molecular chains, particle crushing, and particle tearing. This results in a well-stabilized modified asphalt product that does not delaminate and achieves continuous production, enhancing corporate profitability. The complete set of equipment has production capacities of 2 m³/h, 4 m³/h, and 6 m³/h.
