Weathering steel features:
Low-alloy structural steel with protective rust layer and excellent atmospheric corrosion resistance, suitable for manufacturing steel structures such as vehicles, bridges, towers, containers, etc. Compared to carbon steel, weather-resistant steel exhibits superior corrosion resistance in the atmosphere. Unlike stainless steel, weather-resistant steel contains only trace amounts of alloying elements like phosphorus, copper, chromium, nickel, molybdenum, niobium, vanadium, and titanium, with the total amount of alloying elements accounting for only a few percent, rather than the tens of percent found in stainless steel, making it more cost-effective.
