The portable toilet is constructed from a framework of steel welding, typically with channel steel or I-beam welding for the base and square steel for the pillars. Wall materials such as color steel plates, glass fiber reinforced plastic, stainless steel, and metal carved panels are installed on the wall base. The frame-style structure meets hoisting requirements and can be moved and hoisted in Norway, hence the name "mobile toilet." It is not inherently mobile. It is in contrast to the traditional fixed-toilet. Compared to traditional toilets, the advantages are very evident.

Portable toilets are not restricted by any working environment, featuring a lightweight structure and reasonable color matching, making them suitable for urban streets, parks, stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, new residential communities, large construction sites, squares, crowded public places, and busy commercial streets. Mobile toilets offer advantages such as mobility, flexibility, and easy transportation. Moreover, the interior fittings of mobile toilets are comparable to those of ordinary fixed toilets.
