Desiccants are an indispensable component in the production and packaging of pharmaceuticals. They have the functions of moisture absorption and drying, effectively protecting medicines from the effects of dampness and humidity, and preventing them from becoming damp and deteriorating during storage and transportation.
Desiccants for pharmaceuticals must be safe, environmentally friendly, non-toxic, and possess excellent moisture absorption properties. Hold a "Pharmaceutical Packaging Registration Certificate" issued by the National Medical Products Administration.
Generally, divided by the application environment, it usually falls into three categories:
(1) Use in a small environment: Place the desiccant directly in bottles, cans, or other sealed small bags to maintain dryness for items within the small environment.
(2) For use in Chinese environments: Place the desiccant directly in the packaging box (or drum, bag) to prevent moisture from affecting the items inside.
(3) For use in large environments: Place desiccants directly in warehouses or containers to control the humidity of the large environment.
